Let’s go down the shore
Alright folks. I said I would put cool stuff about the Jersey Shore but I failed to blog so I have decided to put up the TOP 10 things about the Jersey Shore. One thing you should note… it is not really the top 10 because there will be more things. It is the top 10 to this point and will not include the last 3 things. So really it is a list of 10 awesome things about the Jersey Shore that I cannot wait to take part in over Memorial Day.
In no particular order:
10.) Memories in Margate - hands down best bar in Margate and in my opinion in the stretch from AC to Cape May. Great dancing, famous DJ - THE GEATOR WITH THE HEATER!, and great people.
9.) Crabbing - the only times in my life where I don’t mind messing with dead fish and sandworms
8.) Checking the surf with dad - although this may reappear later to remind everyone of how important this tradition is, you must ALWAYS check the surf with your dad at least once while on vacation down the shore
7.) Waking up to cinnamon buns, bagels, and donuts - someone in your family will (or should) do this and it is the single greatest breakfast spread in the world… in my family it is my dad who is up at 6 for a run and to make sure the food is out before anyone else wakes up
6.) Walking the boardwalk on a Friday or Saturday night around 6 when all the families are out - it will take you back to being a kid
5.) Surfing - not known for the best waves, half the fun is just sitting out on the board
4.) Wawa - best convenience store hoagies hands down.
3.) Hoagies - you can’t beat a sandwich from NJ
2.) Sunset - wait everyone, take it in, it is so beautiful.
1.) Waverunning on the bay - can’t describe it. it is awesome. better yet, watching the sunset while waverunning… so 1 & 2.
