Day 1: No. It isn’t.

Alright I am a bad blogger.  But who cares because here comes more information about the Jersey Shore.  I may just make this a blog about how great the Jersey Shore is… and then publish it and make at least $200.

Greatest things about the Jersey Shore cont’d:

1.) Listening to Bruce Springsteen with the windows down, stuck in traffic on the AC Expressway, not caring that you are in traffic.

2.) Building a sandcastle

3.) Sitting on the dock with a cigar and a good glass of red wine, watching the sunset

4.) Riding the waverunner through the marshes during high tide (don’t get stuck when the tide goes back out!)

5.) The GIGANTIC slices of pizza on the Wildwood boardwalk

6.) Having the buy all your alcohol at the biggest liquor stores before you get into OC

7.) Always thinking you will come home a winner from AC

8.) The fact that the summer begins on Memorial Day and ends on Labor Day… not before and not after

9.) Knowing that for a few days, you have no responsibilities

10.) Riding the rides on the boardwalk knowing that most of them shouldn’t pass safety inspections

11.) Knowing that there is a good chance some of your extended family is on vacation down the shore the same time as you

12.) The Big Wheel; you can see it all lit up on your drive in… and Chris Tully used to run it

13.) Not feeling bad about napping on the couch

14.) The smell of the salt in the air on the drive in

15.) RELAXING because YOU ARE ON VACATION!

Wines

Red - Fairhills Malbec; jammy with deep plum notes.  Comes from a sustainable farming community in Argentina

White - Overstone Sauvignon Blanc; Tart with a great citrus finish.
